These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Buck Wiser mobile app (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Buck Wiser is a grocery price-comparison app. You build a cart of items and the App compares prices for those items across nearby Kroger-family grocery stores, so you can see where your cart costs the least.
You create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Viewing a full price comparison for a cart requires a one-time $0.99
in-app purchase (product ID com.pricepass), charged per
comparison through Apple's App Store or Google Play billing, as
applicable to your device.
Prices, product availability, and store information shown in the App are sourced from Kroger's public API and reflect data provided by Kroger at the time of your search. Prices may not be current, may differ from in-store or checkout pricing, and are provided for informational and comparison purposes only. Buck Wiser does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price or product data, and is not responsible for pricing discrepancies you encounter in-store or at checkout with any retailer.
The App requests location access (or a typed home address) solely to find nearby stores and return relevant comparisons. You can decline location access and use a typed address instead; without either, store search will not return results.
You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to interfere with its normal operation, reverse-engineer its backend services, or use it to violate any applicable law.
The App and its price/store data are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buck Wiser and its operator (Appsketiers) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on price or store information shown in the App, including any difference between an in-app price estimate and the price you are actually charged by a retailer.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see our Delete Account page). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. Consumable purchases already made are not affected by termination and remain subject to Section 3 (Refunds) above.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
